Broadway: Flat Creek to Jackson Street

 

Traffic Information

Traffic patterns were switched to the south half of the roadway on Thursday October 24, 2013. Please see the configuration below labeled “Phase II A” (in the lower right corner). West / south bound traffic will remain two lanes, in one direction and East / north bound traffic will still be diverted in two lanes onto Pearl Avenue

ATTENTION MOTORISTS!!

Traffic patterns will be switched to the North half of the roadway on Friday, August 30, 2013. Please see the configuration below labeled “Phase II B” (in the lower right corner). West / south bound traffic will remain two lanes, in one direction and East / north bound traffic will still be diverted in two lanes onto Pearl Avenue.


Jackson Street is now CLOSED TO THROUGH TRAFFIC.


Motorist are ask to please NOT use local business parking lots as short cuts around the construction zones.


Please be aware of, and pay attention to, the large portable Dynamic Message signs at the beginning and end of the wok zones. These signs will convey daily information on direction of travel. Also check the calendar tab on this site for additional street/ approach closures and public meeting information.

ATTENTION JACKSON HOLE! Re-construction of the West Broadway streets project will be resuming Aug 21, 2013. Traffic control devices will be in place the morning of Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2013. Left turn movements through the construction zone will be eliminated and the speed limit remains at 25 MPH.  Evans Construction Co. and the Wyoming Department of Transportation appreciate your patience and cooperation. A new traffic flow pattern will be implemented for this phase of the project.

 

 Phase II A: Both lanes of traffic on Broadway heading into town towards the Town Square will be diverted to Pearl Avenue. Travel will be one-way from the 5-way to Milward Street. Milward Street will be one-way, northbound only. Motorist will be able make a left turn onto Broadway at the traffic signal. There will be no left turn for south bound traffic from Milward onto Broadway. On street parking will be limited along these routes.
West bound traffic will remain two lanes on Broadway through the construction zone.

Be aware of schedule changes to work activities. Evans Construction is providing their best attempt to provide the public with a schedule that forecasts work for the upcoming two weeks. As construction work of this nature is weather dependant, the proposed work schedule is subject to change accordingly.  Please check the calendar tab for updates. Evans Construction Co. and the Wyoming Department of Transportation appreciate your patience and cooperation.

Please be aware of the speed limit through the construction zone. The speed limit is 25 mph. Watch for pedestrians crossing the street, bicyclists among the traffic stream and the construction workers and equipment in and around the work zone.  Evan Construction Co. and the Wyoming Department of Transportation appreciate your patience and cooperation.

 

Drivers are asked not to attempt to make a U-Turn within the travel way at the end of the “cone zone” on Broadway. Evans Construction Co. and the Wyoming Department of Transportation appreciate your patience and cooperation.
